Denham Jeans is a fairly new brand that represents what I call, “neo-vintage”. Using
inspiration from older clothing, founder Jason Denham, and design director, Liam Maher take
us through their shop in London and show us what their brand is all about. With attention to

As a designer, I’m always noticing how different companies brand themselves. Recently this
weekend I was watching a whole lot of the Winter X Games over on ESPN. I was just loving
what they were doing with their typography (arrangement of text/typefaces). In case you
were wondering, I’m pretty sure the typefaces they used were Clarendon and I think Konsens.
By using a color palette of cool colors, a nice grid system and great composition, ESPN does
a great job of organizing the many different text boxes in an easy readable way.
Meet Foster The People, an LA based alternative rock band formed in October 2009.
The song below, “Pumped Up Kicks” has been one of the more popular tracks off their self
titled debut album which was released about a week ago. Enjoy.
I did some updates and gave it a clean look. Take a look.
As Khalifa recently stated his new album will be titled, “Rolling Papers,” it only seems like him
to release a single shortly afterward. And yes, it is produced by Stargate. Check out the single,
it’s a softer tune for Wiz, but it’s nice, the album drops March 29.
I always enjoy videos and interviews when the music artist is in-studio. This is were I feel the
artist is most engaged in their work and their personality is really showed. Though this video is
almost four years old, we see Kanye West in his earlier career stage just coming off his “Late
Registration” album release. Spike Jonze deals a great interview with West, as he shows his
true feelings and in the middle of editing his then new video “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” with Hype
Williams in-studio. See more of the series with Spike Jonze here. Enjoy.
